Following are categories for both new applicants and renewing members.

Once you have applied and paid, your membership renewal will be up for renewal in December.

DOCTORAL - Life
    

Requirements: 65 years or older and  fully retired and have been a member of  TPA for 10 or more continuous years. $25.00.
PREDOCTORAL INTERN
    

This membership category is complimentary while you are an active predoctoral intern. Proof of intern status is required before your membership will be activated. A brief letter/note from your supervisor indicating your status is required to be eligible for this category.
DOCTORAL - Member
    

Requires a doctoral degree in psychology earned more than 2 years ago which was conferred by an accredited graduate school, or licensure as a Psychologist or doctoral level LSSP by Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP). (If you are new to this category and are not licensed by (TSBEP), you must provide a transcript of your college graduate work.) $295/year, monthly draft option available.
DOCTORAL - Nonresident
    

Requires a doctoral degree and you must reside outside Texas.   $147.50, monthly draft option available
DOCTORAL - Recent Graduate
    

Requires a doctoral degree in psychology earned within past 2 years which was conferred by an accredited graduate school, or licensure as a Psychologist or doctoral level LSSP by Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) (If you are new to this category and are not licensed by (TSBEP), you must provide a transcript of your college graduate work.) $147.50/year, monthly draft option available.
DOCTORAL - Semi-Retired or Disabled
    

Members who are 66 and/or disabled, working fewer than 20 hours a week pay 50% of the annual dues.  $147.50, monthly draft option available.
DOCTORAL - Special Consideration
    

If you are experiencing extreme financial difficulties or hardships AND are renewing, you can contact the central office to inform them of your circumstances and request special consideration. $25.00
MASTER'S - Associate
    

Requires a master's degree in psychology earned more than 2 years ago from an accredited graduate school, or  licensure as a Psychological Associate or master’s level LSSP by Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).  (If you are new to this category and are not licensed by (TSBEP), you must provide a transcript of your college graduate work.) $125.00, monthly draft option available.
MASTER'S - Life
    

Requirements: 65 years or older and fully retired and have been a member of TPA for 10 or more continuous years. $25.00
MASTER'S - Nonresident
    

Requires a master's degree and you must reside outside Texas.  $62.50,  monthly draft option available.
MASTER'S - Recent Graduate

STUDENT
    

Requires current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate program, in an accredited college or university, leading to a degree in psychology. ($30.00). Proof of current enrollment required (letter from faculty advisor or copy of current semester paid tuition receipt).

Event Attendee
    

This category is intended exclusively for individuals who wish to attend a TPA event but do not wish to join the association. Note, you will pay non-member fees for events.
