Doctoral Member Discounts

Below are the Doctoral Members eligible for discounted dues. You may select the applicable discount option once you begin your Doctoral Membership application.
  • Early Career Psychologist: Requires a doctoral degree in psychology earned within the past 7 years conferred by an accredited graduate school, or licensure as a psychologist or doctoral-level LSSP by TSBEP.
  • Life: Any Member who has reached the age of 65, is retired, and has ten or more years of continuous TPA membership.
  • Non-Resident: Anyone with a degree in psychology conferred by a graduate or professional school that is regionally accredited, who does not live in Texas.
  • Semi-Retired: Individuals who are at least 65 years old and work less than 20 hours per week.
  • Military: Individuals who are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces Reserves and have been called to active duty.
Hardship discount: Any member who is experiencing financial difficulty may submit a hardship form before applying to membership.
